Welcome back to The Basics of Investing after a long hiatus. I have an internship as a dividend analyst fellow for SickEconomics.com. Through this internship, I am writing ten articles throughout the summer. I want to share these articles with the audience of this newsletter as a substitute for the typical material covered; this change will only last the course of the summer, and regular content will resume in the fall.

The first article, "Better Buy Now: Walmart or Target," is an analysis of the stocks' quantitative and qualitative data regarding whether Target or Walmart’s stock is better to buy after the stocks' respective slumps after their earnings reports.
